Great atmosphere, great coffee (with a nice variety of drinks to choose from), and a nice staff. I’ve been here two times in as many weeks and each time I was met by patient, friendly cashiers and warm baristas. On my first visit my wife and I got their breakfast toast, coffee flight, and a scone to top it all off. The food was awesome, even if the breakfast toast was a chore to eat without getting messy; their coffee was great too. The pour-over had a wonderful flavor, and the espresso was strong and sweet, in a bitter, coffee sort of way. The cortado was ok, but I’m not a big fan of cortados in the first place. The second time I came in just for a regular coffee, and somehow even their batch coffee matches the flavor of pour-overs in other stores! Good flavor profile and way too tasty for milk & sugar. The cashier that day was also super friendly and stopped to chat with me for a bit about my book. I definitely recommend you give it a try!

Sadly, I did not catch the baristas name who made my honey cinnamon latte today but hot damn he really knows how to brew it up! It was so creamy and delicious and the presentation was 10/10 - literally beautiful! The batch brew was also delicious. Loved this coffee shop. The vibe, food/coffee, layout and service could not have been better.
Great coffee place! Wonderful people, chill and clean decor, with an artistic flash, and really spacious! I got a cappuccino, and I have to say, it was the best one I had in Boise. Their beans are also roasted here in Boise, and it showed! 10/10 cappuccino, not bitter at all, beautifully well rounded flavor, and the flavor of the coffee was not hurt by the addition of the milk at all! Well done Form & Function! Also went to the botanical gardens and tried the cold brew from the F&F bus! So cool!
The modern east side of Boise. No surprise to see new shops pop up in the latest real estate developments that's been exciting people, as the city's Central Addition Master Plan gains momentum. Located on the first floor of the fancy Fowler building, Form & Function takes advantage of the modern architecture and the wide sidewalks that serve nearby Boise Brewing so well. Fresh designs like the loft support the vibe and provide space for patrons to bring their laptops. Coffee is solid, staff friendly, pastries are fresh. Hold your next city council meeting here. Another visit, pastries not so fresh this time. Fix it, please.
Very nice and calm atmosphere. Good amount of tables outside. The coffee tastes good, and serving is interesting. Espresso was a bit sour, but not too much as many pnw roasts, and the taste was complex.
Took my son here for some caffeine. He ordered a chai with a shot - it was excellent! The food looked amazing. Lots of coffee options! I had a nitro with cream - it was delicious. Great indoor and outdoor seating available.
